WINTER 2026 — ITZ POWERARM

The Area’s Longest-Running, Most Results-Driven Velocity & Pitching Development Program

Since 2012, ITZ PowerArm has been the gold standard for developing healthier, stronger, more complete rotational athletes.
Fourteen total sessions — two days a week for seven weeks — designed to build the entire engine, not just the arm.

Led By Coach Owen West & Coach Thomas Ippolito

This winter marks a major evolution for PowerArm.Coach Owen West brings a rare blend of pitching experience and NJIT biomechanics/kinematics education — the science behind how the body moves, breaks down, and can be protected.

Paired with the real-world track record of Coach Thomas Ippolito, PowerArm Winter ’26 becomes the strongest instructional lineup the program has ever had.

Program Details

Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays
Time: 5:00–6:30 PM
Length: 7 Weeks • 14 Total Sessions
Location: 102 Iron Mountain Rd, Unit B, Mine Hill NJ

Who Can Enroll

Pitchers, catchers, and position players who want to:
improve arm strength, throwing efficiency, durability, and on-field performance.

ITZ PowerArm is not a “come in and throw” program. It’s a full-body, rotational-athlete development model driven by science — not gimmicks, fads, or cookie-cutter routines.

Biomechanical & Kinematic Foundations

  • Early-arm-action identification and correction
  • Lower-half timing, sequencing, and energy transfer
  • Shoulder-safe acceleration/deceleration patterns
  • Range-of-motion mapping (mobility & stability)
  • Movement quality for long-term arm health

Strength, Speed & Velocity Development

  • Rotational strength and power for throwers
  • Intent-based constraint drills, not random reps
  • Carry velocity and pulldown progressions
  • Ground-force utilization and energy transfer
  • Arm-care protocols based on real biomechanics

Training Beyond the Facility

All PowerArm athletes are integrated into the ITZ Academy web app for true “beyond the cage” development:

  • Video and metrics logged and tracked over time
  • Progress review by ITZ staff and outside college/pro coaches
  • Individualized at-home work tied to each athlete’s profile
  • Not a template or one-size-fits-all program

Is PowerArm Right for You?

This program is built for athletes who are serious about:

  • Gaining velocity the right way
  • Improving throwing efficiency and repeatability
  • Reducing stress on the arm over the long term
  • Becoming a more complete rotational athlete
  • Finally correcting stubborn mechanical issues

Pitchers, catchers, infielders, and outfielders who throw with volume and intent will all benefit.

Built With MLB & College-Level Insight

PowerArm incorporates concepts shaped by MLB coaches, D1 pitching coordinators, and kinesiologists who understand the modern game and the modern athlete. This is a health-first velocity program — done the right way.

Next Step

If you’re ready to train smarter, throw harder, and invest in your long-term arm health, PowerArm Winter 2026 is the program built for you.
