This softball defensive clinic is designed to give players quality on-field repetitions while working on the footwork, glove skills and throwing mechanics that make defenders more dependable in games.
What You’ll Work On:
- Improve pre-pitch preparation and first-step quickness
- Work on ground-ball angles, glove presentation and playing through the ball
- Develop forehand, backhand and charging techniques
- Improve transfer speed, throwing footwork and accuracy
- Work on fly-ball reads, communication and moving efficiently to the ball
- Apply skills in game-like defensive situations and competitive reps
The goal is to help players become more efficient before, during and after the catch so they can make routine plays consistently and handle more difficult plays with better body control.
Space is limited to ensure players receive quality repetitions and individual attention.
