Description
Our Outfielders Clinic is an intensive, position-specific training session designed to develop complete, confident outfielders who understand how to defend space, read the game, and make plays under pressure.
Led by the experienced ITZ coaching staff, players will work through game-realistic drills that emphasize both fundamentals and decision-making.
Areas of Focus Include:
- Proper outfield footwork & first step
- Reading the ball off the bat (trajectory, spin, depth)
- Efficient routes & angles
- Timing and approach to fly balls and ground balls
- Getting behind the baseball to create momentum and accuracy
- Defensive situations and positioning
- Do-or-die plays and aggressive throws
- Communication, urgency, and outfield IQ
